We’re all going to get old and die, which is both beautiful in a circle of life kind of way, and a major drag in every other way kind of way.

But we must admit to never fully understanding–on a biological level–why this happens. A student sent this ASAP Science video our way recently, and we were struck by how simple this video makes it sound. But it begs the question–how long until we start modifying “telomere decay” ourselves?
