Project-Based Learning (PBL) is not new–nor are projects in the classroom, which is a different matter entirely.
While using PBL in a progressive learning environment is catching on in formal learning environments around the world, how exactly to make that shift–on a concrete and curriculum level–isn’t always entirely clear to teachers. While we’ve offered ideas, tools, and thought on PBL in the past–and there are incredible resources such as those offered by Edutopia–the guide below is very good as well.
So here ya’ go, from learningfutures.org. It’s 58 pages, and very thorough–tips, associated images, planning frameworks, reflective questions, etc.
