Twitter has been a boon to educators–and this guy too–offering a constant stream of bite-size text to help keep you up to date without drowning you in information, links, and resources.
And all of that is true except for the last bit.
It is a bit overwhelming, akin to opening your mouth around a fire hydrant for a drink.
Enter twheel (pronounced twee-ul).
It hopes to help you sort through more or less helpful tweets by making things more visual, showing you 30 tweets at a glance using a wheel design (thus the name), and separating read and unread tweets.
It’s out for the iPhone via iTunes, and an Android version is apparently on the way. iTunes reviews have been mixed so far, but the app is just a week old, and has appears to have potential, especially for those visual consumers out there.
