Do online students cheat more often than those in brick-and-mortar institutions?

That was the question posed to university presidents in taking a look at the intersection of technology, learning, and ethics. The big takeaway?

73% of online students admitted to cheating on at least 1 of 14 non-proctored quizzes, while only 56% of those in brick and mortars did so.

With better assessment, rampant cheating is really not possible, but as we transition from old assessment forms to new learning environments, these kinds of data aren’t surprising.
