November 20-22, 2014 Raleigh, NC

The 2014 Teaching & Learning with the iPad Conference has placed a call for proposals. If you’ve got an idea, some experience, or otherwise want to contribute to this conversation, this is an excellent way to join in.

New for the 2014 Conference is the submission of proposals for consideration for concurrent sessions.  Concurrent Session will be either one hour or forty-five minutes in duration. To apply, use the submission button on this page to begin the application process to send your idea to us for consideration. All presenters will receive complimentary registration for the 2 day conference.

Submissions will be received from March 15, 2014 until June 30, 2014.  All submission will be reviewed and the presenters notified by July, 31, 2014.

Each of the themes listed below are meant to be general categories that the majority of the information covered would be related to in the presentation. All submissions must choose one main theme that the presentation will be connected.

5 Themes For Conference Sessions

1. ASSESSMENT

The iPad used as a tool to assess student performance in a variety of ways to include formative, summative, objective, and subjective elements.

2. TEACHING & LEARNING STANDARDS

The iPad used as a tool for connecting learning to a variety of state and national standards.

3. CONTENT CREATION

The iPad used as a tool in the hands of teachers and students to create documents, media rich content, interactive products and support classroom workflow.

4. INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES

The iPad used with specific instructional strategies that produce quality results in student learning.

5. DEVICE MANAGEMENT

Strategies and techniques for managing the iPad in 1:1, classroom sets, and cart configurations.

The First All-iPad Ed Conference In The Nation

With over 30 concurrent sessions and keynote presentations, the November 2013 Teaching & Learning with the iPad Conference in Raleigh, NC was attended by close to 200 participants from 9 states and Canada.  Sessions included topics for all grade levels, curriculum areas and IT management. The conference looks forward to an even larger conference gathering this year with more sessions and attendees covering all things iPad in education!
