Slideshare presentations that spew progressive learning rhetoric are a dime a dozen. Most do a decent job of proving an overview of why education has to change, and few say anything that hasn’t been said before.

The presentation below by Judy O’Connell of the School Library Association of Victoria kind of fits into those two categories, but what sets it apart is its thoroughness. At 77 slides it may not be a bit long-winded, but it does a good job of setting the groundwork for almost all of future learning, from game-based learning and social media, to the nature of data, and the important shift of promoting local action rather than pure “globalization”.
