Accessibility Statement

TeachThought is committed to making its website, resources, and digital learning materials accessible to as many users as possible, including people with disabilities.

Our accessibility goal: TeachThought aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 Level AA and is working to improve alignment with WCAG 2.2 where practical.

Accessibility Standard

TeachThought aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines help make web content more accessible for people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, magnification, alternative input devices, and other assistive technologies.

We also review WCAG 2.2 guidance where practical, especially when creating or revising core pages, course pages, product pages, and downloadable instructional materials.

Ongoing Improvements

TeachThought is education organization whose website, at 10+ years old, contains a large archive of articles, resources, images, and downloadable materials. Some older pages, embedded tools, images, or files may not yet fully meet current accessibility standards.

We are working to improve accessibility over time as pages and resources are reviewed, updated, redesigned, or republished.

What We Are Working To Improve

Area Accessibility Focus
Site structure Clear headings, readable layouts, descriptive links, and logical page structure.
Images Meaningful alternative text for instructional images and appropriate handling of decorative images.
Forms Clear labels, readable instructions, usable buttons, and keyboard-accessible email signup forms.
Downloads More accessible PDFs, classroom resources, course materials, and product files where feasible.
Media Captions, transcripts, or text alternatives for video and audio materials when available.

Digital Resources and Downloads

TeachThought may provide downloadable resources, PDFs, course materials, classroom tools, and other instructional content. We aim to make these materials accessible where feasible and continue improving older resources as they are revised.

Third-Party Content

Some pages may include embedded forms, videos, payment tools, analytics tools, or other third-party services. While TeachThought cannot control every aspect of third-party platforms, we aim to use tools that support accessible use where possible.

Feedback and Accessibility Support

If you experience an accessibility barrier on TeachThought.com, please contact us and describe the issue. When possible, include the page URL, the specific problem, and the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using.

Email: [email protected]

We will make reasonable efforts to review accessibility issues and improve access where possible.

Accessibility Is Ongoing

As we continue to update older content, publish new resources, and develop courses and classroom materials, accessibility will remain part of the review and improvement process.
